To help you plan your holiday with us, we have listed answers below to our mcaravan tramoreost commonly asked questions.

Q. How do I book a mobile home?               
A. Bookings can be made by phone or by email accompanied by the requested deposit of €100 per mobile home/ per week/ per short break. Please make bank draft,cheque or postal order payable to Fitzmaurices Caravan Park Tramore. Payment by debit card and bank transfer is also available. The balance of hire is payable by cash on arriva. Balance can also be paid by bank transfer or card prior arrival. We require a €50 refundable damage deposit returned on departure provided the mobile home is left in a clean condition and that no damage has occurred to the mobile home or equipment during the rental period.

Q. What are your terms and conditions for mobile homes?

1. Hire periods commence after 3 p.m. on arrival and end before 11 a.m.
on departure
2. A Deposit of €100 Per Week/Short Break is required at the time of
booking. The balance of hire charge is payable in cash or bank draft at the
commencement of hire.
3. The Management reserves the right to decline accommodation.
NO REFUND will be made if a hirer is requested to leave a Mobile Home,
or leaves of his own accord before the expiration of the booking.
4. Should the Mobile Home booked not be available due to unforseen
circumstances, we reserve the right to offer an alternative, or to cancel the
reservation and to refund the amount paid in advance in full settlement of
any or all claims.
5. Damage Deposit: At commencement of hire a damage deposit of €50 will
be collected from each hirer. The Management reserves the right to collect
a larger damage deposit. This will be refunded at the time of check-out
provided no damage has occurred to the Mobile Home or equipment
during the rental period and that it has been left in a clean and orderly
condition. Your Mobile Home will be checked before your departure.
6. Cancellations: In the event of a booking being cancelled with at least three
week’s notice, 50% of the deposit will be refunded if we are successful in
re-letting the Mobile Home, otherwise the full deposit is forfeited.
7. If a Mobile Home is not occupied before 6 p.m. on the date of arrival and
the Management is not notified, the mobile home will be considered
cancelled and will be re-let. Deposit will be forfeited.
8. All Mobile Homes are fully equipped EXCEPT FOR LINEN. Please bring
with you - Sheets, Pillow Slips, Towels, Dish Cloths. You can also rent
Sheets at the Park (if booked in advance) at €10 per pair and Pillow Cases at
€4 per pair.
9. It is an express Condition of Hire that the Management be relieved of
liability for any accident or loss or damage which may be sustained by the
Hirer (or their property) whether such loss or damage is caused by the
negligence of the Management or its servants or otherwise.
The company is not responsible for any loss of valuables or property left in
the home or on site during the stay or on departure.

What are cancellation terms for touring caravans and motorhomes?

Please see terms and conditions below of cancelation. Payment in full at time of booking. If more 14 days notice is given, a full refund will be made less a €30 administration charge. If up to 7 days notice is given, 50% refund will be made. If less than 7 days notice is given, no refund will be made. Failure to arrive on the day of your booking without notification, your pitch will not be held and there will be no refund. The Management reserves the right to decline accommodation and access to the caravan park. NO REFUND will be made if a hirer is requested to leave a pitch, or leaves of their own accord before the expiration of the booking.

Q. Where can I get your brochures?

A. You can can contact us to receive a brohure by post.

Q. How do I book for camping?

A. Please call in advance, or email us.

Q. What time can we arrive to check into the mobile homes?                                
A.
Check in time is from 3pm onwards. Check is before 11am

Q. What happens if we arrive later than 6pm on the first day of our stay?    
A.
If you do not collect your keys by 6pm and have not notified the management, the caravan will be considered cancelled and will be re-let. The deposit will be forfeited.

Q. What time do we leave our accommodation on the last day of our holiday?     
A.
Please vacate your accommodation by 11am on your day of departure to facilitate cleaning for next guests unless another time is agreed with the management.

Q. When will I receive my refundable deposit?

A.  Your mobile home will be checked on departure. Your refundable deposit will be returned on your departure, provided that the mobile home was left the way the way you hired it from us. To ensure this happens, please make sure that the mobile home is left in a clean and orderly fashion.


Q. What will I need to bring for my holiday?                                                          
A.
You will need to bring your own sleeping equipment (pillows, blankets/ duvets/sleeping bags ) bed linen & towels etc. If this is not possible we will have supplies, but please let us know.

Q. Are Dogs allowed on the site and are Dogs/Pets allowed into the mobile homes? 
A.
Well behaved dogs on a lead are most welcome onto the site but dogs/pets are not allowed into our mobile homes for hire. Where dogs are allowed on site, they must always wear a collar and identity tag and be kept on a lead and under the control of a responsible adult at all times. The management reserves the right not to allow dogs onto the park

The Control of Dogs Regulations 1998 impose additional rules in relation to the following breeds (and strains/cross-breeds) of dog:

  • American pit bull terrier
  • English bull terrier
  • Staffordshire bull terrier
  • Bull mastiff
  • Dobermann pinscher
  • German shepherd (Alsatian)
  • Rhodesian ridgeback
  • Rottweiler
  • Japanese akita
  • Japanese tosa
  • Bandog

The rules state that these dogs (or strains and crosses of them) must:

  • Be kept on a short strong lead by a person over 16 years who is capable of controlling them
  • Be muzzled whenever they are in a public place
  • Wear a collar bearing the name and address of their owner at all times.

Q. Can I hire a cot for my baby?                                                                               
A.
Yes, cots are available for hire but are subject to availability. Please remember to bring your own cot linen etc.

Q. Is there a TV in the mobile home?                                                                                                
A.
There is a saoriview TV connection point in the mobile home. You must bring your own saorview television or if you would prefer, you can hire one from us for a small fee. Sometimes its great to have a TV free holiday!

TV Channels: RTÉ One, RTÉ Two HD, TV3, TG4, RTÉ News Now, 3e, UTV Ireland, ,RTÉjr, RTÉ One+1

Radio Stations: RTÉ Radio 1, RTÉ 2fm, RTÉ lyric fm, RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta, RTÉ Choice, RTÉ Pulse, RTÉ 2XM, RTÉ Gold, RTÉjr, Radio 1 Extra.

Q. Are there supermarkets in Tramore?
A. There are four supermarkets in Tramore-SuperValu, Tesco, Aldi and Lidl. We also have a reasonably priced shop on site with all the necessities.

Q. Where can I park my car?

A. Cars can be parked beside your mobile home or parked beside your tent.

Q. Do you have mobile homes available for sale in Tramore?

A. We have mobile homes for sale off site at the end of each season. Please register your details with us if you are interested in a mobile home for sale.

Q. How far is the caravan park away from the beach?
A. We are only 3-5 minutes walk from Tramore beach, surf schools, cafes amusements and town. Fitzmaurice's Caravan & Camping Park is the most central and closest caravan & camping park to Tramore.

Q. Is there decking around the mobile homes?

A. There is no decking around any of our mobile homes. Every mobile home has a green space.

Q. Can friends & family visit us?

A. We are a Residents only park. Please check with us in advance.

Q. I have never been to Tramore before, what is there to do?

A. To put it simply... loads! . We love helping people plan their day and week and we have experienced most of the activities and days out. We wiill know what activities and excursions to recommend to your family. Our Festival,Activities Attractions section has everything you need to know about the area and is frequently updated.
